Wedding Photography Animated Slideshow

October 5, 2017

I’ve been keen to use video as a way of displaying my photographs for a while, but most of the photo slideshows you see are so boring, and I didn’t want to do that. I wanted something much more creative, exciting, and more like a music video in style. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I’m really super happy with what I’ve put together here:

This video uses images from Louise & Sean’s wedding at the Punch Bowl in Cumbria last year.

This is just a web sized version, and it’s great, but you should see it in HD on a full sized TV! My plan at the moment is to produce a video like this for each wedding going forward. I think it will be a great way for people to show their  to their friends and family.

At the moment, I’ll just be putting them on the site and on the facebook page, but it is also possible to make DVDs, HD Blu-Ray discs, and iPhone/iPad compatible versions, so let me know if this is something you might be interested in.

Suzanne & Andrew’s Wedding Photographs at The Punch Bowl

I think Suzanne & Andrew must have chosen the best day of the year so far for their Lake District wedding at the Punch Bowl Inn in Cumbria. The weather was fantastic, the location perfect and everybody was in a great relaxed mood. What more could you ask for in a wedding!

To begin, I’ve put together a slideshow using some of the images from the day. I highly recommend pressing the HD button and expanding it to full screen, looks great, even if I say so myself 🙂

I was back at the Punch Bowl in Cumbria this afternoon for Suzanne & Andrew’s wedding. This is one of my very favourite venues, set in the beautiful Lake District, and the weather was perfect.

Andrew looked very cool in his suit, and was in a pretty relaxed frame of mind as I took a couple of photographs of him before the ceremony.

For some of the guests, I’m pretty sure that this was their first wedding, very well behaved though!

A lovely moment as Suzanne entered the ceremony room and her eyes met Andrew’s.

The registrars in this part of the world are very friendly, but they aren’t too keen on photographers taking photographs during the wedding ceremony, so I had to make every image count!

Suzanne combined the 2 great qualities of looking fantastic in front of the camera, and being keen to go on a 50 yard stroll down the lane to a lovely spot overlooking the beautiful lakeland valley below. This is the result:

More photographs to follow shortly once I’ve edited them all.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my web site. As you might have guessed, my name’s Stuart and I am a wedding photographerworking mainly in LiverpoolCheshire, the Wirral and the surrounding area.

I have been working as a wedding photographer for around 6 years with experience of shooting at most of the premier wedding venues throughout the North West of England and North Wales.

My style of wedding photography centres around a relaxed unobtrusive approach with a mix of reportage and stunning, creative portraits. In practice, this means that during the precious hours of your wedding day you will spend a higher proportion of your time enjoying yourselves and spending quality time with your guests. This has the benefit of giving me much more opportunity to capture genuine moments which make for much more evocative photographs.

To see what I mean, I highly suggest that you take some time to look through my blog page to see hundreds of samples of my work. Of course you’ll probably also want to see my prices and get an idea of what’s included. Please feel free to check out my Prices & Packages Page for details.

One quick note, if you are having an Asian Wedding I am highly experienced with these, but they are not usually blogged due to client preference.

So if you like what you see, please give me a call on 0751 5353 189, or click the contact link above to send me an email.

Liverpool is a great location for weddings and I’ve worked in many of the best wedding venues in the city. Some of my favourites include Knowsley Hall (my fiancé Sarah McDonnell is actually a recommended wedding photographer which is a great honour), Hard Days Night Hotel, Crowne Plaza Liverpool, Crowne Plaza Speke, The Panoramic, The Adelphi, The Devonshire, The Palm House in Sefton Park (Sarah’s also a recommended photographer at the Palm House), The Solna Sefton Park and Liverpool FC Anfield Stadium. I should also mention the fantastic Malmaison Hotel where Sarah & I are getting hitched next year.  🙂

I live on the Wirral, so a lot of my wedding photography work is there and in Cheshire. I’ve worked in so many great venues in Cheshire that it’s hard to list them so here’s a truncated version: Leasowe Castle, The Leverhulme Hotel, The Hilbark Hotel, Thornton Hall, Thornton Manor, The Grange Thornton Hough, Sheldrakes, Inglewood Manor, Craxton Wood Hotel, Crabwell Manor, Grosvenor Hotel Chester, Grosvenor Pulford, Peckforton Castle, Arley Hall, Walton Hall and Rookery Hall.

Wedding Photography Wirral – Jodie & James at Thornton Manor

Jodie and James were married at Saint Paul’s Church in Hooton, and held their wedding reception at Thornton Manor on the Wirral. I used some new cameras for this wedding (Fuji X100s and X-E1 for the technically inclined). The cameras are much smaller than my Canon setup and enabled me to get some great reportage outside the church and at Thornton Manor.

One quick note, the images on the blog here are all black and white, but Jodie & James will receive both colour and black and white versions of all the images. I just really liked the black and whites!
